UNAA Empowers Widows, Widowers, Others in Umuoji,Idemili North, South Communities

The President-General of the United Nations Association of Africa(UNAA) Ambassador(Dr) Sylvester O. Okafor has donated cash, bags of rice, groundnut oil, tomatoes, and indomie to about 54 persons, comprising of widows, Widowers, the physically challenged,and the indisposed in Umuoji, Idemili North, and South Communities.

Okafor said in a message from UNAA headquarter in Houston Texas to the event held at Umuoji Community, Anambra State, that UNAA would continue to support , and give hope to widows, widowers, and the less privilege across Africa.

According to Okafor,UNAA is an organisation committed to advancing the welfare and development of vulnerable people across Africa.

“Our focus remains to continue to uplift and empower underserved individuals, including widows, Widowers, persons living disabilities, and those facing different health-related challenges”. he said.

Okafor said that the beneficiaries, who were invited from Umuoji, Idemili North and South communities, were given cash,bags of rice, groundnut oil, tomatoes, idomie, and also received medical treatment from the medical team on ground.
